Academic Quality and Compliance Manager

Location: Real Group Ltd, Canterbury or Greenwich office

Hours:  Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £34,000-£38,000 (FTE) (dependent on experience & qualifications) + pension + bonus + benefits

Real Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a new Academic Quality and Compliance Manager for our growing company. About you

You are an aspirational thinker who is focussed on ensuring that our academic programmes meet the high standards that we set ourselves. You will be resourceful,  well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. You will have experience of working in academic quality and  / or compliance roles within a Higher Education Institution (HEI).  The ability to work well as part of a team, to work accurately, to be knowledgeable about HEI regulations  and governance procedures are essential. You will be able to support Real Group in developing our relationship with the Office for Students. You will be able to develop productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels of an organisation, seeking and offering clear advice and guidance to ensure developments in our academic programmes can progress. 

The Role

The Academic Quality and Compliance Manager is responsible for the operational management and support of academic standards and quality enhancement across the programmes, overseeing academic quality assurance functions such as course validation with our partner University, professional standards approval, monitoring and review. The processes overseen ensure there is a regular cycle of feedback from students, staff, academics from other institutions and industry experts, all of which is used to share new ideas and constantly improve, as well as making sure academic standards are maintained.
