Educational Psychologist/Senior Educational Psychologist

Do you want to become part of an exciting company delivering the best that psychology can offer to children, families and schools? Can you meet the challenge of applying your psychological knowledge and expertise to a range of innovative projects and training courses?

Real Group Ltd, founded and run by Educational Psychologists (EPs), is recruiting Senior EPs, or those at any stage of their careers, to work across the Real Training (realtraining.co.uk) and Real Psychology (realpsychology.co.uk) areas of our company, via employment / freelance contracts. We are a dynamic, growing organisation with an established reputation for providing training, consultancy, and direct psychological services.

Real Training provides opportunities for our employed and freelance EPs to develop and deliver training for teachers – within the UK and internationally. Teachers in over 100 countries currently study with us. We are proud of our innovative training approaches that combine psychology, education and technology. The EP team delivers our online and face-to-face courses, as well as writing and designing future courses.

The Real Psychology team trades according to social enterprise principles. We have a number of long-term contracts with schools and other provisions, plus shorter project-based commissions. We consider individual requests for involvement on a case-by-case basis. We are looking for enthusiastic EPs to join our high-performing team, from January 2024 and beyond. Your varied role will include: direct EP work, seeking exciting new commissions, international work, and Real Training work.

We are an equal opportunities, flexible employer with offices in Greenwich and Canterbury. We are particularly interested in hearing from EPs in London and the surrounding area who are looking for new and cutting-edge ways of working. We welcome applications from EPs representing the diverse communities that we work with, and at any stage of their careers.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff to share this commitment. Real Group follows safer recruitment practices, so interested applicants should complete the following information form, including employment dates. Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Applicants seeking full or part-time opportunities will be considered. Salary for employed roles negotiable between £43,000 – £51,000 (depending on experience) plus pension.
